I recently obtained a movie and wish to make a DVD out of it. It has 2 sets of subtitles and is probelly some form of mpeg. Anybody know how I can add the subtitles to the video and make a quick DVD out of it?

Well it needs to be a dvd file first off, so find a converter for that. I use VSO DivX2DVD.

How do you do the opposite and turn DVD into avi or mpeg?

Right, I managed to burn it to a DVD and it lets me add one of the 2 subtitle options but I don't get any turn on. I've got 2 files, an SSA and an SRT. I was alowed to add the SRT to the file convertion in VSO. How can I add the SSA since I'm guessing thats the one the actual subs are in?

EDIT: OK I've opened both files in notepad, The one I added where French which would've been pointless if they worked anyway. The one that I couldn't add is in english.

EDIT 2: Never mind I've figured it all out. If a mod wish's they may close this thread.
