View Full Version : Adam Corolla isn't very funny yet has his own tv show

but it's a slippery slope! At first it's only one comedian, but then every single comedian has to have his own talk show and TV is overloaded with pathetic attempts at humor AND THERE'S NOT A DAMN THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!



Anyway, this isn't really a Adam bashing thread.. I mainly wanted to see if anyone else thought his "Slippery Slope Guy" clips were absolutely hilarious. Much more funny then the "Explains to 1780s guy.." and his other stuff. I usually watch his show in hopes that he has a couple of those on the show that night.

I actually find the 1780s guy sketch funnier than the slippery slope one. it just seems so novel to me.

Adam explains to 1780s guy: gays in the military.

1780s guy: (slaps his knee laughing) Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I agree, Adam Corolla isn't funny....and his show is very boring and bland.

Some of his jokes are decent, but he's just another Carlos Mencia to me.


And the Slippery Slope Guy was good.

Have you seen any of his "Sensai" clips? That's pretty funny too.
Doesn't sound familiar, but I haven't seen any episodes for a while. I stopped watching it.

No, god no.

Corolla has a long history of being a funny guy. Mencia has had one good line... ever.

His problems are delivery and being a solo comic. He isn't funny on his own, but he's funny with someone else. Hence why they thought he would be good at a call in show. He wasn't good with callers, but he is good with people. Now that the show is all with a guest he's doing much better. But his show did suck at the beginning.

His crank yankers calls are genious and his drawn together character is pretty good.

In any case, it would have to fall pretty far to be in the Strip Mall/Mind of Mencia ranks.

I used to listen to Loveline all the time before it was taken off the air around here. I thought he was really funny.

I haven't seen his TV show.

Adam Carolla is realllyyy funny, but unfortunately his TV show sucks. He left Loveline too, which is where he was the funniest. Now he's taking over for Howard Stern on the east coast or something. If only he was still on the Man Show... :(

Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel are both very witty. They always have a comeback or something to say, which is good I suppose. But separate them and they're kinda weak.

i was bummed when Adam left loveline. His show is allright, but loveline was where he was funniest.
