If anyone has played it, or heard anything about it please tell me 'coz I'm really really considering to buy one, but I can't try it out because not one shop in Belgium has them in stock yet
thanx! :thumb:

I saw one in a shop a few weeks ago. The first thing that struck is is that it doesn't look like a typical Fender (this is a good thing to me).
The flame maple top and longer fretboard lends looks to a more customised look.
Unfortunately I never played one, but it's one of a few Fenders I wouldn't be against owning ;).

They're pretty good basses, but the 24-fret neck makes it lose some of its "Fenderness," if you know what I mean. It's a great bass, though. :D
I'd give ite a 7/10, considering I grade basses VERY hard, that's a darn good score.
I reccomend it if you need to play every genre: rock, jazz, metal, funk, etc. It's a great bass overall and the looks are stunning.
I'd swap out the SD PUPs for DiMarzio PUPs...I don't like SD J style PUPs, only SD Ps.

and yes, I'd use it for everything out there: pick-playing punk, fingerstyle rock, slap 'n pop, two-hand tapping etc.

What's the price on it. That picture reminded me of a Peavey that looked very similar minus the headstock.

YES!!!!!!
Finally they made a Fender Jazz with 24 frets. The reason I don't like Fenders is that before now, all the ones (minus a few sigs, notedly Stu Hamm's), I haven't seen one with more than 20 frets. I think it's a big step for them
Hopefully I'll see one next time I go to Guitar Center
next they need a 24 fret P-Bass and they'll be good to go.

Well, I can tell you it is CIJ, and feels a lot like all the other CIJ Fender's, with a few more frets
It's Korean made.
It's a nice bass. If I ever get a jazz, I'll probably look into this.

Best Fender I've ever played.
Keep in mind that I hate all Fenders but this one, the Geddy sig, and vintage.

i really liked this bass, played it allot when looking for a new bass, and i would have gotten it, if my budget hadnt gone up during the time
still a lovely bass, but it does loose a certain "fenderness" ala it not really a jazz bass as such, being it has too many frets
sounds nice though, and plays pretty well

It's a fantastic bass.

My main problem with Fenders is the low number of frets, and though I've never played this, I suspect it's very nice.

Well, it's a 24 fretter, so no more low fret problems.

I agree with those two things.
I love the fact that it has twenty-four frets, and, me personally hating Fender and all, makes me like it more. And, yes, it doesn't look like a typical Fender, which is even better since I hate their aesthetics. :)
I haven't tried out this bass, yet, but it does look rather promising for it being a Fender and all.
I don't know about the colour too much, though. I mean, it's not terribly hideous, but the colour could definitely be much better.

I'm hoping to get one sometime in the near future.

I'm buying all of them, it doesn't matter what city or country has them, ALL of those Stilleto's Custom so nobody plays them except me.
So keep on hoping. And no, I won't give you one xP.

they feel quite nice. about like a highway one and the tone is pretty good. a hair beefier than the standard electronics. mm... hairy beef:p the neck is good but the 24 fret is decently unfun to grope at when you arent sitting or high on the strap. good buy...

why do so many people hate fenders? theyre good basses.
because theyre simple. everyone likes having 500000 knobs and weird oily woods on their basses. personally i think fenders work great. best 5s under 700$ but beyond that i think music man has better fretwork.

Many Fenders are overpriced. The MIA series is just ridiculous.
MIM, or CIJ are fine, though.

I just purchased a MIM fretless J, and it's a great instrument for the price. Good skeleton for mods that will easily make it a delux bass.

Honestly, I'm just tired of seeing Fender, and I really don't think that they're all that great. I'm also not a fan of J and P pickups.
