Like, blank songs? I have 14-15 songs with no vocals on them, fully recorded with drums guitar and bass.

Yea I'm looking for blank songs. Some that people wouldnt mind me working with. I'm into stuff like Audioslave/Soundgarden/Anything cornell,Tool and Apc of course, Mars Volta,Shinedown, Mudvayne to name a few. But I wont limit myself as to what I'll write with. I dont really plan on having a genre in my future works and I wont start now.

Its not done, there are parts where some form of over melody is needed, I think the breakdown is still being...thought out, but its a legitimate song, try it.

I could definitely write to that! I like it. About as heavy as I want to go for my ideal album in my mind. If I had about 14 tracks I would probably want two about this heavy and this angle. Or maybe three that had really heavier breaks but also totally opposite lighter melodies.
I'm sure I'll burn it soon to give it a go in my car.

I would like to hear some results, if you dont mind. I dont know what your voice is like, Ive been told good things though...maybe we could do a slightly softer collaboration in the future. :D

Yea...I'm burning it now. And I'm a slow writer. Upon listening further, the time signatures are, challenging, shall we say to write over.
I'll see what happens

Tire Me is probably my favorite RATM song. I even made a shirt with the whole jackie onassis (i forget how to spell it) that was a pretty crazy cover. How do you go about writing your songs? Is everything played and recorded by you or is most of it created on the computer? Are those vocals yours also? The quality is great on them.

I just hear stuff in my head, put it onto guitar, and record the guitar riff or whatever. I listen to it to hear what the drums should be, then I program the drums.
Not that it matters, but I write and record the same day, at least for this CD I did. I think some songs took two days, but most all of it was written and recorded in the same day, without about a week in between songs. I dont plan them that much.
I recorded the guitar and bass myself. Vocals are my old guitar teacher, who lives in Seattle now and sings/plays guitar for a band called Xanther. www.xanther.net
