I'll start off, don't know what you would really consider these guys, but they're pretty good. I know the lead singer, anyway, the band is Blasphemous Rumours, here's a link www.myspace.com/blasphemousrumours check em out. I've seen them live and even though it was on some one's back patio at they're birthday party, there was still a lot of energy at the show

Music exists in AZ?
Sometimes.
There's some good Pop-Punk here in the form of Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Vitruvian. Those are the best local bands I know. My band is my homepage.

Music exists in AZ?
barely, but yes. I don't know any big hardcore, emo, or screamo bands that have come from AZ, but in other music, we've got authority zero and the format. the crimson romance was a good local band, but since they got a new singer from bailey's window, they suck

Nice, I can whore my band to you then :D
We play Punk (all covers thus far, Ramones, Green Day, etc...) but we have gigs around here. Played Big Fish Pub a few weeks ago and might have a show at some coffee house in the next week or two.
But as far as good local bands I've seen here, Vitruvian is the best non-big band I know of. They opened for SKSK at Neckbeards and were real solid. If you like Ska, Captain Squeegee and the Soapsuds are pretty decent. Opened for Streetlight Manifesto and SID III.

Are you in high school or uni?
But yeah, the Clubhouse and Neckbeards are cheap places to see some good shows with big name headliners. There's tons of small places around here though (<3 college towns). Marquee is a lot pricier.

A few months ago I saw a band from Arizona touring with the Blood Brothers and Chinese Stars. They're called..errr....The Mean Reds, I think. Really funny/nice guys, but I think they're more punk than hardcore.

Haha, the only people mentioning Where Eagles Dare are the poeople who aren't from Arizona.
I was totally indifferent to them until I saw them and heard their 7", but now I think they're awesome.
