where can i get weights to help build up my legs while im practicing? my wonderfully trashy music store doesnt have any :angry: and which ones specifically would u recommend? if it matters?

Why would they have leg weights?


Anyway, you don't need them, just practice.

Nope, it'll jsut put strain on,... it'll make you worse as opposed to better,

they dont help. dont waste time or money. just keep practicing with it.

you really don't need to be that strong to be a drummer (apart from carrying a bloody hardware bag/case around) - the drum skins and cymbals will provide you with all the rebound you could possibly need. you just need to learn to use that rebound and train your muscles to accept it. i really don't think you need to have strong legs to play quickly on the bass drum. it's not a question of strength, it's a question of control and endurance. stone's formula:

accuracy + precision = control
+ endurance = speed

You don't need waits to get better just keep practicing and you will improve over time.

Never use weights... Wanna know how to get better,faster,gain more control? Simply play everyday.
