I just got and iPod Nano (awesome by the way) but I can't play it through my stereo speakers. It doesn't have a line in thing and the only way I can think of to play it through my stereo is with an iTrip but you lose so much sound quality that way and I need some way to jam along with my music. Any suggestions?

It doesnt have any input at all?

Mine has the L and R RCA audio inputs on the back, so I just got a Mini Jack to RCA cable (like this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=hifi/search/detail/base_pid/333055/ )

If you don't have any inputs at all for your steeo, you're kinda stuck with iTrip

Haha yeah I think I need a new stereo. The speaker hookups are really, really weird.

Are there seperate wires for each speaker (gold,silver/red,black/positive,negative)? Are the wires clipped or crimped into little hole-clamp-like things? If so, your just about out of luck. Unless you want to cut some RCA cables, splice some wires, and do some real "jury riggin"!

Is your stereo a stand-alone unit that only plays CDs from a built-in reader? If your stereo is a system of CD-player and poweramp, then you can easily plug your ipod in.
