Im having trouble finding a decent new bass. Im looking for a 24 fret five string with good tone, any suggestions?

Ibanez sr505....Only about $500 and extremely versatile.

you can search Ebay if theres a particular model your interested in? also, musiciansfriend and samash.com carry warwick's, among other sites..

Id suggest either Warwick (Thumb 5 BO, about $1700 new, less used....awesome growl), Spector (Euro LX....should be around your price range....nice, bright, growly)

Ibanez sr505! I'm serious! Look at those ratings....look at it and tell me it's not hot sex in a bag! That list price is bull, btw, it's a lot cheaper in your average overpriced Guitar Center.
