I just noticed they run for $450... Yeah, I can get that.

I've played SWR LA combos, SWR Workingman stacks, SWR/Hartke stacks, SWR Red heads, but I can't recall EVER playing a Workingman combo. Do they have the SWR tone we have come to all know and love? How loud is it for 160W?

I love them! Three powerful, have great tone, plus they have a speaker extension on them, great for that price i'd say.

How portable are they? They look huge, compared to, say, their LA 15, or my Roland.

I love mine, I've got the 12. I paid $550 for it a few years ago, kinda wish I waited till the price went down. My 120W Workingman's 12 is pretty loud, so you can imagine the 15. I've got a review of the 12 in the Gear Review forum. Check it out.

The preamp is screwed. Not sure what's wrong with it, but :(...
