Not bad, good singer.
When I first joined I wasn't thrilled with his voice, but in the time we've been playing he's progressed a LOT in both the sound of his voice and how he lays the lyrics over the songs. I really like his sound now.

cant really c much but hey a gigs a gig. hopefully my metal bands gonna start giging as much as my other band. the metal drummer kicks the other drummers as as far as playing goes.
great singer, I like it.
dont like your drummers bass drum sound though. he needs to definately lay off it, as well.

If you listen to a lot of other metal (especially death metal) there's a ton of constant "popcorn" double bass 16th notes. He actually varies it a lot more than most. It's not for everyone though.

na, i know that. maybe its just cause i dont like his bass drum tone that it sticks in my mind more. i was refering to your first song that plays on your website.

I think that song is the one where he uses it the most, or at least the longest run of straight bass drum notes, so that's understandable.
I play that funky music

Looks like a good show.
We played 4th; a lot of our friends came to just see us and then left, so after our set the place kind of emptied. We had a good time though.
The day before we played at a house party and got the cops called because we were loud, so this one was a nice change.

I definitely did. I love playing shows; there's so much more energy than just practicing or writing or anything else.

Yeah, I agree.
Shows are so much fun to play. I even like playing shows when there's hardly anyone there. I mean, I'd prefer for there to be quite a bit of people there, but whatever.
I have two shows coming up this Friday and Saturday.
I'm excited.
We just recently kicked out our lead singer because we don't like her and she's an idiot, so we're going to play the Friday show as a four piece, and then I think we're playing the Saturday show with our ex-singer as her final show.
We're going to be doing the four piece thing for a while to see if it'll work out. Girl singers aren't working out for us or our style of music because we're too heavy for their screaming, but we already have a guy lined up if we end up getting a new lead vocalist, which is great for us.
It rules having people in the band that can do multiple things like my rhythm guitarist being able to sing really well, so he's going to be going to lead and playing rhythm, and my drummer's going to, hopefully, be growling and whatnot. I'll probably end up screaming or something since my lead guitarist told me to stop being "gay" and scream because I get shy at the mic.
oops.
That was like my band life story of the last week.:p
How often do you play shows?

I've always heard it called rolling double bass (double bass/kick drums)
Your drummer is good IMO. Does he use Pearl drums? For some reason the sound reminds me of them. Also, bass drum is difficult to record and tells a lot about the recording/production of a song.
I also like the singer. He reminds me a mix between Lamb of God and Shadows Fall. Not quite as gurgly as the LoG singer but I still like it. The LoG singer has one of the more distinctive vocals that I've heard in metal

No. The only straight edge one in the band is our singer.
