Up until now I've been using my index, middle and ring finger to fret notes, but I'm starting to see a need for using my little finger.

I've been trying to use it, but I either don't press down hard enough and get fret buzz or I press too hard and it sort of hurts. :upset:

How can I make my pinky more powerful? :D

You probably haven't built up callouses on your pinky... Keep practicing every day until it doesn't hurt anymore. Even if you have to just play major scales...

G--------------------------------
D------------------4--6--7-------
A---------4--5--7----------------
E---5--7-------------------------

Start on the 5th fret on the E string with your middle finger.
7th fret, E -- pinky
4th fret, A -- pointer
5th fret, A -- middle
7th fret, A -- pinky
4th fret, D -- pointer
6th fret, D -- ring
7th fret, D -- pinky

If you didn't catch the pattern, here it is...
4th frets -- play with your pointer finger
5th frets -- play with your middle finger
6th frets -- play with your ring finger
7th frets -- play with your pinky

Being that you haven't been playing with your pinky all along, I'm going to assume you don't play a major scale this way or don't play them at all.

Good luck!

I guess I'll just have to keep on fretting with it until it gets used to it.

Thanks guys. :thumb:
