has anybody else heard this guy on any recordings? hes an extreemely talented upright and electric player. he plays jazz and blues in his own band (called the russel jackson band) he allso played in the bb king orchestra for 7 years were he apeared on several live albums (such as "teh great bb king live in cannes) were he has some incredible basslines and some jaw droping slap solos.
i hadnt heard of him untill i dug out and old bbking album and his name was shouted over and over after a solo, i looked him up and found some more good stuff. check him out.
