I really hope this is the right place to post this and if it's not i'm sorry.
Anyway, When i try and post or do anything on sputnik it tells me i'm not a registered member of musicianforums but the thing is i'm registered and even logged in. I was wondering if anyone had info on what's going on or if i'm just retarded and overlooking something or what.

No, most people around here have multiple accounts for various reasons.
Sorry Med.

If you're submitting your first review, it needs to be cleared by Med and Damrod, so that might be the reason for that message. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you until Med and Damrod see this. I apologize, but that's my one guess.

Well, have you tried what Med suggested up top?
1. Logging out here and on the forums, and then trying to log in on sputnik again, making sure you type in your username/password properly.
2. Trying both URLs for sputnik. http://www.sputnikmusic.com and http://www.musicianforums.com/sputnik
3. Clearing cookies and all that, then trying again.

Like Jom pointed out, have you tried both URLs? Usually for people that can't log in on Sputnikmusic.com can log in on www.musicianforums.com/sputnik
If you are logged in with cookies here, you should be logged in on www.musicianforums.com/sputnik as well

I joined Mxtabs and in oder for me to join Sputnik I ended up having to click on a username in the musician forums and somewhere on the screen it's says register and that was the only way I could join it wouldn't let me join on Sputnik.

MXTabs and Musicianforums/Sputnikmusic are on different servers, so yeah, you would need two different identities.
But since MX/Sputnikmusic are on the same server, there's no need.

Ok but you guys are not understanding. I have tried all of your guys sugestions and non of them work. I have tried to log on with my username, I have tried clicking on your guys's links (all of them), and I have tried logging on to it directly from sputnikmusic.com and nothing works. I dont mean to be sound rude. But it just makes me upset that after you start an account you cant do anything. And all you can do is post, and create threads. So what am I suppose to do.

Well, what should we do? You can post here in the forums. So there is absolutely no rational or logical explenation why the solution with musicianforums.com/sputnik should not work IMO.
Again, all stuff I coul think of that could make trouble:
Did you make sure your browser accepts cookies? It's about 98% sure iot does not work without cookies.
Were you registered before and got banned? Did you have your account merged with a previous account? Changes sometimes take longer to carry over to Sputnik
Are you sure you have entered the right username and password? Capital letters do matter here. I once disabled my account for half a day cause I missed a capital letter in my password
Have you made 100% sure, that when you are logged in here in the forums and type in www.musicianforums.com/sputnik as adress (in the same browser window, not a new one) that it does not work?
If all that does not work, provide a detailed (really detailed) description what you do to log in. We can only hunt down a possible error if we know exactly what you do and what you do not.
EDIT: Darn, Med beat me to it again. You fast bugger you! ;)

We can do so, if you want to. Just use one of the IM handles from my user profile. IM is much more flexible than forum posts. We can hunt it down better then.
This bugs me as well, I want this thing solved

Question to all that have the issues mentioned above:
When have you registered here at the forums/Sputnik?
Was it after 23rd October? We go the feedback from the administrator that it might be due to a recent update of the forum software. It would be great if you could state the time you joined. We could pin it down further that way

I joined I believe on November 7th? Well, I have been having similiar issues. I've tried both URL's and have allowed all cookies. I have been having a sorta different problem with my name, showing its signed in on Sputnik, but signed out of Musicianforums. When I created a new name, it still showed I was signed in on my old name. I can post on these forums, but nothing on Sputnik. It is truely a shame because I want my first review to be Winger.

Their exact join-date is in their profile, you know.
From what I've seen, they were all afterward.

No need to be afraid. I won't beat anone :) The new avatar is actually me, a picture from one of our recent gigs, altered as duotone pic. I thought after over a year with the same avatar it would be time to change.
On other things: I noted the thing about the join dates to the mx, as soon as he has an idea how we can do a work around for the problem I will let you know. Apologies for the inconvinience.

Maybe it's the Family Guy avatar. Sputnik doesn't like those.
