New band on the scene, what do you guys think of them? http://www.purevolume.com/bulletformyvalentine
Recomended Songs: Suffocating Under Words of Sorror, Hand of Blood

They're listed everywhere as "Metal" everywhere but it's got a lot of hardcore influence as well. I personally enjoy them a lot, and am looking for a store near me with their cd. I like the mixture of emotions the singer uses, and the technical aspects of the music is awesome to my ears.

What do you guys think?

They are decent. The only song I have heard by them is the song of Madden '06 though.

Yeah, I've heard them from the EA Sports games. I like that song.

Well being from the uk ive known about them for a whiel and i have to say they kick ***! The poison is an amazing album with no downsides to it and is well worth buying.

These guys sound like they'd be an awesome live act, wish I could find some videos/recordings.

I think they're even worse than Trivium, and that's saying a lot.

They just sound like another generic metalcore band, or whatever you clasify it as. I don't like them very much.

Replace suffocating under words of sorrow with 4 words to choke upon. SUWOS is good, but it's not one of their best. BFMV are very good!

No, you are very wrong, they are good, and great even, but there are so many better bands. Bullet are cool I think, but nothing spectacular.

Bullet isn't bad, I have Hand of Blood, and it has about 3 songs on there that are good. The last 3 are pretty much crap.

EDIT: If you want a good metal band...listen to In Flames.

Bullet isn't bad, I have Hand of Blood, and it has about 3 songs on there that are good. The last 3 are pretty much crap.

I find most of Bullet's songs sound the same and I could never see what was so great about them.They just sound like everyone else and aren't doing anything new.

On a side note In Flames aren't that great either.They released a couple of good albums and then spiralled downhill.

Agreed on the Bullet part.


But music is subjective...as I think all of In Flames albums are amazing. Same with Trivium.
