I did a search and didn't find anything on these guys.
What the hell is wrong with you people?
Anyway post some thoughts on this band, and if you don't know who they are, just Google it.
Quick information: Australian-based metalcore/post-hardcore band. They have just released their first album, as well as a 7-track EP.
Standout songs include:
-Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'Em
-Gimme AD
-Don't Close Your Eyes

awesome band. I caught them when they played at newcastle ( n.c.h.c wolfpack, represent! ) a while back, really really good show.
flesh, bone and weakness probably isnt a crowd fave thats why they don't play it live man. Great band though

I've heard some of their songs off their website and didn't think it was too great. I'll try them again though. For Aussie hardcore I prefer Last Nerve or The Dead Walk. Shouldn't this thread be in hardcore?

i think that this thread is in the right place they have a lot of Metal influences in their music.
I love the new album the solos are great (particularly in Gimme AD) and the drumming is amazingly tight, although i dislike the bass mix (as in its often hard to differentiate it between the massive guitars) and some of the lyrics are pretty poor.
I saw these guys playing at NEXT in melbourne before they released KWS and the amps were rocking around so much im amazed they didnt fall over. The band has come a long way in a very short time and i expect much improvement with future releases!

i cannot believe i haven't seen this thread yet.
Parkway Drive are one of if not the best Australian band. Their ep is very good but the album (produced by Adam Durkesomething from Killswitch Engage) is so very good. i am going to see them with The Getaway Plan who suck, Carpathian and Evergreen Terrace tomorrow. i can't wait it's gonna be so mad

My friend got kicked in the head at Carpathian.
Funny story.
Look out for Tommy Dollars, the massively tall guy with crazy tattoos. I saw him when I saw Parkway, he started hardcore dancing and clocked about 3 kids. Rumour has it he was told to stop hardcore dancing because he broke a kid's nose.
Brutal eh?
