Well, found this on google Videos.

Pretty funny when the solo begins an Ozzy canīt hold that note and look to randy for some help:lol:

I used to think Ozzy was a good singer, but that:rolleyes:

Big deal he ****ed up, everyone does from time to time.

He really should retire and quit the the crappy covers and pop duets.

I believe he did announce that he was going to retire. There was a thread about his retirement a month or so ago.

So, in the all time you've been playing your instrument or singing you've never made a mistake?

Get real, he's human.

Ozzy was never a "good singer." When it comes to singing ability, he's bloody horrible. He just fit Black Sabbath quite nicely.

Listen to Sabbath play with Dio...it's like...Ozzy who?

i must have to listen to the song some more cause I didn't really notice what you're talking about here.

Sheesh, without Randy he'd be terrible. Of course he had Randy (and when he didn't he had a guy who could play all of Randy's stuff) and so he rocks.

Are you tone deaf? He goes completely off-key starting with the chorus.

Hmm, yeah. Not even close. He just kind of yells and somehow manages to be somewhat coherent. There's a good reason why most of his songs have long guitar solos.

All he does is brag about it, I bought The Black Box, the Black Sabbath box set, and it has a book with it, with interviews with members of the band, and on the Ozzy ones hes like " Yeah Snowblind was about Cocaine, and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I wrote Jack the Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots when I got high one night and saw a fairy wearing some boots outside. Oh oh oh yeah Sweet Leaf is about weed too." And then Tony Iomi talks about the coughing in the beginning of Sweet Leaf was him, when he tried to smoke a huge blunt, and it was recording, so they just kept it in there since the song was about weed.

You should read that book, or just read the lyrics to these songs:

Sweet Leaf
Snowblind
Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots

There's more I just can't think of them.

I believe that performance was "After Hours". They actually do 4 songs. I Don't Know, Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, and Suicide Solution. This was recorded in April of 1981.

Ozzy does hit a few sour notes, but I've heard him much worse on many other shows. I still like his singing much of the time because he's got a cool stange uniqueness in his voice.

Randy's playing was great on that performance and so that helps carry the songs.

Lol right before the solo, Ozzy is giving up on trying to hit that high note and throws his arms down, that was funny.

I play that funky music

Randy Rhodes is incredible.
