I've been setting up a mini studio at home, and I recently got some drum mics. Something's gone wrong with my software and I'm not sure what. My set up is Inputs (guitars, drums) into a Tascam MA-8 Preamp and then into an Edirol FA-101, using Digital Performer on my mac.
Basically the problem is that there's some really strange, messed up sound over the playing. It isn't just for drums, it comes for guitars as well.
Here is a clip of what it sounds like on drums:

But then it also does that same sound for guitar, so I figure it must be the software rather than my drum mics.
Somebody please help!
