'Kay, so I listen to Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, and Children of Bodom. Big ****ing deal, I happen to like them. I don't go "omgwtf they're symphonic black metal/melodic death/whatever" and act like a total dick.
I also happen to like Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Iced Earth, and Amon Amarth. I don't try to classify any of it, but still, people are always such dicks to Dimmu and Bodom fans, and they're only marginally more tolerant of people who listen to Cradle.
What the **** is wrong with listening to a band you happen to enjoy?
