Yeah what I've heard of their latest album was terrible. I do the couple of older songs I've heard by them though.

I hate to say it, but I kind of think they're boring.

I like Every Time I Die alot but I have yet to hear the new album Gutter Phenomana, or something like that, or see them live. I hear they put on a sweet show though and its just crazily intense and amazing.

Since when were you a London kid, you at Bane on Sunday?

p.s never liked ETID.

ETID used to be incredible. The new album ruined them for me.

ETID are stinky

London kid, you had better go to bane if you have the chance, I live in gay *** newcastle where Bane and CBK are NOT playing, and I cant get the time off uni to go to manchester. Its not fair, damn it.

kingdead

Ive never heard of any shows in Newcastle.Which is wierd since Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester all have mad healthy scenes.

Newcastles poser scene is vibrant. Hardcore/emo scene is stagnent with the odd glimer of hope. Funeral Diner and Million Dead shows have kept me hopeful that more hardcore/emo bands will come through the city.

I think ETID suck.

I'm from London but I'm at uni in Leeds at present. I'm recording this weekend so not only can I not see Bane+CBK in Sheffield I can't go to the London one either. Knowing me I'll finish all my parts on Saturday and spend Sunday doing nothing.

When in Rome we shall do as the Romans, when in Hell we do shots at the bar.

I like ETID, though I don't think it's a popular opinion. I also dig their newest album, which I know isn't a popular opinion. They're good partycore.

Haha @ "Death_cab_for_benfolds".

I hate the music but one of the guitarists is real cool. He listens to alot of cust and stuff.

I saw them with A Life Once Lost, Haste the Day and It Dies Today and ETID blew the **** out of the whole place, it was amazing. I was front row and I got to "sing" into the mic for a couple seconds :D

The new album has its moments but is overall a disappointment compared to their last 2 masterpieces. Pretty Dirty still has the Hot Damn! feel to it.

Hot Damn is good but I don't like any of their other stuff.

Hot Damn! is alright, they really bit it hard with the new album. I must say I have lost a lot of respect for them since Gutter Phenomenon.

Was it huge blonde one or the other one? A couple years ago at their show me and my friends chilled witht hem by their trailer and the blonde one traded my friend t-shirets, the other one was weird.

They're one of the most original metalcore bands today. I really dig the old stuff. The new album is okay but not as good as the old stuff. I'll give it another listen later.

the bassist was kind of a wanker to me, on stage he was about to shake everyone's hand but then he gives this stupid  look and pulls his hand away. the big blonde guy was awesome tho, shook my hand during one of the songs.

The big guitarist (Andy? I think?) is pretty great from the interviews I've read and the footage I've seen.

And to threadstarter: If it makes you feel better, I like Death Cab.

I've seen them 3 times total, the only time where they played/sounded well at all was the last time when they played with The Chariot/The Red Chord.

I do like ETID's albums though, new one gets boring quickly though

Hot Damn! = good

New albums = :upset:

They's awesome to listen to every once in a while due to their diversity, crunchy tones, and the cool and brutal lyrics, but only for a little while before they get boring.

Hot damn! was a masterpiece, thier new cd is nothing special, but all in all they are a good bunch of fellows.

personally i love the new album... the drummer and singer i think have grown a little bit. im glad theyre doing something new... too many bands sound the same in this genre. when i say that, i mean his vocals sound like hes grown up and into his music, like the music and vocals fit.

hot damn was a good album, that got me into them, gutter phenomenon is an album thats going to keep me watching to see what the next album holds.

i dont listen to much hardcore, mostly punk, but my 2 fav. core bands go in this order:
1. ETID
2. ZAO

Last Night In Town is great...

Hot Damn was a breakthrough for the band...

New album put in alot of risks and new things and pro's and con's came out of it.

Their first E.P. I thought was awesome. Very Chaotic..

Yeah i really dont mind the new trend of "re invention". I personally think its more interesting than having the same album comeout with different song names. I love both gutter and Hot Damn!. But then again, i like the bled albums too, and i hate bane..... so my opinions dont count here.

As far as I know, ETID just hate "A7X" and all they stand for, think they're ruining music and tainting the scene, etc, so they just talk **** and make fun of them.

I used to be pretty big on them, not so much any more.

The first two albums were really good, , the last one (what I heard at least) was garbage.

Overall they're a good band.
