Yeah so all this new-fangled Digital Rights Management is causing a ruckus lately. Luckily, most of the stuff I/We listen to hasn't been affected by this new copy protection method, but WHAT IF? I mean, there has been a couple freakshow stories on the internet about essentially useless CDs and corporate espionage. Theres stuff on Slyck.com for instance, about some alleged spat between Sony and Apple that is resulting in a lot of Sony CDs being unplayable with iTunes and such. There are even cases where CDs are protected with DRM software without the label and artist's consent. Still it doesn't seem like much of a problem now but who knows? Seeing as alot of phony 'coreish' bands are becoming the new nu-metal, maybe we'll start seeing DRM measures soon?

I think the new Static Lullaby cd has that, luckily it sucked and it accidentally fell underneath the tire of my car whilst driving.
