Hey guys like what kind of recording software for computer is good that wont pick up frequencies and you dont have to lower youre volume just to record?

I personally don't get your question dude :p

what do you mean don't pick up frequencies? Do you mean you wan't some software where you can edit the sounds frequencies (an EQ)
and when you say you want something which doesn't involve lowering the volume, maybe you just have a very sensitive mic?

patience. It often takes more than the 20-some minutes you waited for somebody to see the thread and leave a reply.

In response to your question, there's lots of good, powerful recording freeware out there if you go digging, but it sound like YOU are having problems with hardware. You're probably going to have to explain your situation a bit more in-depth, but smart money says you're recording on stuff that's not designed for audio, be it a computer soundcard, or some such other crappy devices. You're probably discovery harsh resonant frequencies and lots of clipping errors.

Sadly, software cannot fix these problems, particularly not the 2nd one. That's called not having enough headroom, and it's bad and impossible to fix without just lowering the input signal one way or another.
