Place Your Hands

We had the finals for a sort of talent quest today. We were one out of two bands competing, with a total of about 9 acts. We played 'Place Your Hands' by Reef, and kicked some serious anus. We're a good bet to win, but we won't be finding out until next Friday. The first prize is $150 in cash... to be divided four ways... making about $37.50 each. The best sound I heard during the time we played was the applause at the end. I threw my sticks down emo style and ran off-stage. Quality time... and we PWN3D'd the competition by far... imo... lol

You shoulda thrown your sticks into the crowd. :p Sounds like fun though. The best gig I had was when people actually were there and clapped. lol. Actually when we did the talent show we had a pretty good crowd response - they were requesting songs from us which was cool and I was playing open handed on a lefty kit but it all turned out good. We didn't win but it was fun :D

Oh yeah and at my most recent gig there wasn't too many people but at least the band played decently - and I threw my sticks behind me at the end. Woo. Don't worry I checked behind me first lol

the time when i was choking a 20" crash and the stand broke and fell away and i was sitting there holding the cymbal and tilter in mid-air.. wait that was carmen
