Me and my bandmates are having trouble naming the band.
Since the previous rhythm guitarist left, the band wanted to start over basically. We pretty much have an entirely different repertoir of songs and they wanted to re-name the band.
There's been an ongoing joke about 'cutlary' which we encorperated into a few ideas, as was 'monkeys' and 'beards' (the first studio we went to had a picture of a beard on all the equipment) so here's a few of our ideas:
The Bearded Cutlary
The Kings of the Cutlary Drawer
The Love Monkeys
The Cutlary in General (I came up with this randomly; as the band were naming random bits of cutlary as suggestions for our band name eg. The Knives, The Forks, The Spoons, I said "How about 'The Cutlary in General'?")
Also, our drummer was quite keen on having a name that was a singular noun, to buck the trend of having a name like 'The Spoons' or any other plural like most bands seem to have nowadays. Can you think of any interesting/funny/original ones?
Can you think of any other band names? We dont take ourselves too seriously, we just like to have a bit of fun and make sure everyone enjoys themselves when they come to our gigs...so we dont want a really serious name. Something quite funny or meaningful would be great, or a name that uses any of our 'special' words.. BTW, we're a Classic Rock act. We do covers and originals.
Any help/ideas/suggestions is really appreciated!
