What type of peddles are the best type of peddle that are made for the bass.

What type of pedals are the best... well, that really depends what you mean. Do you mean the best brand? Or the best effect? How do you define best? Best value? Best sound? Best versatility?

Like he said, that is a very broad question! What is it you are wanting a pedal to do for you? What type of music do you play? What sort of tone are you wanting to achieve?

What would the best pedal be for a bassist looking for a punchy sound for metal riffs?

yea i heard some good some bad stuff about the digitech bp 200 but im lookin for nice all around bass effect that can be used for all types of rock
