finger position(thumb on neck)

When i play my thumb is in a way so as only the part where the print is touches the neck, but it kinda gets sore during playing, am I playing properly?

Sounds like you're playing correctly, but with too much tension. Try to make sure that your thumb is relaxed, not bracing on the neck. :)

yeah I am pretty tight to the neck. Ive tried but naturally seems just like it does it automatically.
