Their debut CD is out tomorrow, got some really good songs on it, but i'm not entirely sure I like it a lot. Seems to be more bad songs than good at the moment, but with a few more listens that opinion may reverse.

Check out the song/video Circle Square Triangle on their myspace; www.myspace.com/testicicles

The music isn't very good but they have a cool name.

p.s. you guys don't know what you're talking about. The name "Test Icicles" is really a good representation of the amazingly advanced maturaty level of these guys and their overall importance to music period.

p.p.s. just checked out their myspace and they're horrible.

I'm seeing their show with the Goo Goo Dolls and Garbage. It's the "How ****ing Dumb Are Our Names Tour 2005".

I don't like them because the other members are white.

Nope, just saying race doesn't really matter in a sarcastic tone.

race shouldn't matter, i am in two minds about this band. they say they are playing music they feel like playing, they also say they don't like their music. i think the latter is a downright lie, but i admire them for doing what they want and taking music somewhere new but i do think they are trying to cash in on a new gimmick

I haven't checked into them yet, I've read a few articles on them but haven't checked them out, mainly because of their stupid name.

They're playing in my town tonight and I can't be arsed to go see them.

They sound just like Bloc Party to me, just not as good. And I'm not even a Bloc Party fan..

And the name is truly awful.

Cirlce Square Tirangle/Dancing On Pegs = superb

Boa vs Python = dire

I can't decide if i'm willing to take a risk and buy the album, if it's alla s good as the first two it'll be kickass, if it's as bad as Boa it's gonna be rubbish...

It's more Boa vs Python. It is really boring and just mostly terrible.

Circle Square Triangle is a diamond in the rough, it's so good compared to everything else. Snowball, What's Your Damage, Sharks, and All Your Need is Blood are the only other listeable tracks. It should've been an EP.

they played a gig in liverpool recently and they got booed off the stage by fans of the arctic monkeys. they couldn't deal with it and just walked off half way during their set, not very rock'n'roll...

They just don't do it for me at all.

They were bloody awesome when I saw them live at Reading then the ULU.

I like them quite a lot, although some of the songs get painful after time, and the cd recordings don't live up to live ones.

I think they are awesome, pushing the boundaries with this new breed of "synth rock" that everyone seems to be doing now-a-days. Theyre, influenced from everything, from slayer to beastie boys. Catch It! is a great song by them. I suggest you all pick up this album now!

4 good tracks does not an album make.

Nah they don't, they have a drum backing track because they don't have a drummer but that's all.

They're pretty awful, ive met the "black guitarist" Dev through a friend when they supported Death From Above 1979 in liverpool and he said the band were close to a break up, then lo and behold i found them playing at Leeds Festival and they were equally awful there too.

They got booed when they supported DFA'79, which was fair because they just seemed to flail around alot while nearly knocking everyone by the stage in the head with their guitars.

They play all the drum backing tracks through an ipod. You learn something new every day.

Does anyone know if they play their basslines through an ipod as well, seeing as they dont have a live bassist and all. For fans of test icicles check out the live version of "circle, square, triangle" on the domino records website, featuring a guest rapper mc lair or something like that.

I can't really. I'd get in trouble with my label. Just read a couple of their interviews, they aren't actually joking about some of the stuff they say. They won't split till after SXSW don't worry.

I hadn't even heard of them until now. I watched their Circle Square Triangle music video and it was pretty lame, musically and visually, so yeah. I'll make sure to steer clear from them in the future.

They don't like their music, they play a lot of **** shows which they seem to hate? They're in it for the money, now have what they have and are splitting?

DO they actually have a ryhthm section at all? (I.e. bassist and Drummer) i saw live footage of them, only saw the 2 guitarists the 'singer' and MC lars. i think there a bit s'hit however, it was live and some bands just dont cut it live (even with a programed ryhthm section)

incubliss

It's all played through an iPod apparently. Bass and Drums.
