Are these really low end Paiste or something? I'm not well educated on Paiste, I regard anything by them really top quality stuff, am I wrong?

What am I not getting?

They're only 101's. Those are one of Paiste's lowest lines of cymbals if I'm not mistaken, so yeah. That's why you get so many at a cheaper price.

Ahh. I should really stop admiring Paiste as cymbals to kill for.

I really like the look of Paiste tho, somehow.

200 pounds for 101's...damn...even if they'd _give_ me 200 pounds I wouldn't touch them...

They're the paiste equivalent of solars

cant blame yea, all Paiste cymbals look kick@ss so its hard to tell the cheapos from the pros ;)

in this case they are cheapos, dont get those.

the PST5s are very good if you wanna look into those.
the next step above that is the Alphas, but i cant personally say i like them.

Those are the cheapest of cheap paiste cymbals.

its almost worth it because i mean theyre cymbals they cant be all that bad

youll get a bunch of different sounds in the end

and you get the stands too

To be fair, unless they're the 1000 series stands (which i doubt seein as they're £50 each) then the stands are dog****. I had some and they had problems holding my 15" crash

I have to admit those cymbal look nice! Like great watches, great cymbals come from the Swiss. Just gotta make sure that your buying into the higher end Paiste though.

Used those alpha's for a long time over here. Not bad... Not good, but not bad... :)

After a few years though, I got really tired of that metal-ish aftersound in that power cras... brrr!

And tbh, I even think that 200 for these cymbals is a LOT
