Foot percusion question

Now i know nobody likes the dualist because its gimicky, but it seems pretty good to use on a cowbell or something. What do you guys reckon?

It's not too much that it's a gimmick, it's just that it's pointless buying a Duallist when the Sonor Giant Step Twin Effect is the same except more stable and responsive.
Also, yes it is a good idea for foot percussion.

I am thinking about getting the Giant step thing for both of the cowbells I use pedals on. Much better idea than the Dualist IMO
