I took apart my kit yesturday & then put it back together got all the gaps & shiz out of the way! yay...... But the problem is that one of my toms is clamped on to my boom stand for my ride cymbal is (and the tom that is clamped is in place with the correct angles and so forth). So I was woundering does anyone know where I can buy a stand for toms but not a cymbal stand?? Because all I can find is cymbals stands! Also I'm from UK .

they exist but I don't know if all brands have them. Yamaha and Tama have though. just look on the website of your kits brand.

the third one down would be fine, most drum shops sell them.

Would it work even if my toms arms are a different make?

The ones that you need are the yamaha tom clamp stand, since they do the moveable ball part in order to move the tom, if I'm right in saying? Check out www.electromusic.co.uk (http://www.electromusic.co.uk) (Doncaster, UK) they do have some there.

Buy just the body of a stand then, I think you can buy them separately.

If I remember the last time I looked at one, the stand comes with a clamp to hold to of the moveable ball parts.

id suggest turning your cymbal stand into a tom stand ~ and then multiclamping a cymbal to that.

you might be able todo that w/o spending $.

That one will work if you already have the tom and ball part :) And FYI stagg make excellent hardware at low prices

You could use a snare stand :)

Not helpful if you have a billion toms ;) Or 4... either way

^^ in this case it's about 1 tom, so it could be the solution :)

Its about a 14" floor tom (IIRC) so a snare stand wouldnt work

just about every major drum company that has hardware has tom stands. if u have a standard tom (with the tube) u might try pearl. if u have the pointy one its a yamaha and anything else a DW should cover
