Recording :-/

I decided at about 11 PM tonight to make a (cheesy) recording of Blue in Green, in more of the vein of McLaughlin's live version (forget what CD at the moment). Anyway, I realize I have a lot to work on in all areas, so I'd appreciate any sort of advice you could give to someone at my level (pretty basic knowledge/workings of improvisation). Forgive the over-reverb'd guitar.
