Who wants to give me a brief describtion of the history of the bass forum?

Like mod switched , first mods .. ext..

If I remember rightly, the mods were LR, WhooDooVooDoo, and Madthumbs when I first got here. Shortly after I started viewing/coming here Winter took WhooDooVooDoo's spot. After that, BassVirtuoso (AKA Subcontra; xxBassVirtuosoxx) was modded. Then MT stepped down and Radio was modded. Then BV stepped down, and Gav was modded.


I think that's how it went down?

The first bass mods were WhoDoVooDoo and LightRaven, I'm not sure who came first. madthumbs was the next mod, added in 2003 I believe. WhoDoVooDoo left a couple of years ago and was replaced by Wintermute. So we had LightRaven, madthumbs, and Wintermute. An interesting thing happened. LightRaven never stepped down, but she was inactive for months and months, so they replaced her with me (while I was Subcontra). Now there is Me, Wintermute and madthumbs. LightRaven came back very briefly, so she was added, but immediately after she had left again. She has since never come back. The next person to go was madthumbs. He was replaced by Radiobass. A few months after madthumbs left I decided to step down. I was replaced by I0Play0Bass. So we had Wintermute, I0Play0Bass, and Radiobass81. Radio stepped down recently and Tryxx became mod. So that's how it became Wintermute, I0Play0Bass and Tryxx.

I can't believe you got modded without fanfare. It's supposed to be like a Bar Mitzvah or something. You can't just walk in.

I didn't make a topic or anything, I didn't even tell anyone I was going to be mod, and I've known for a week or so before hand.

And I did close two threads about it too... so yeah.

when i first got here it was wintermute, radiobass and gav and then it was wintermute, gav and tryxx. so theres ur history since earlier this month.

well, back in the day there used to be no rules at all. i mean, there were some mere guidelines, but, meh. then pick vs. fingers threads started to become illegal, (partially due to my arugments with coypu). then Hoppus threads were illegalized...blah, blah, so on and so forth.

oh yeah, although i regret it now, i'm sad to say i invented the Tab Request thread.:(

i made a really big post using spaces. it said that i think amj would make a good mod (he has one post) and u could never be a mod. and edge would make a good mod.
