View Full Version : New band I'm jamming with.

I've just been asked to play with this band, or.. all the members of it minus drums and keyboards. Starting a new project, but I thought this was pretty cool. Right click and save as to DL.

Sounds pretty good. Some parts need more bottom for the vocals to really let loose on, especially when i goes out of 7 at 1:00. I like it, but overall, it seems to be missing something, so it doesn't sound as full as it could.

Some of it reminds me of Tool.
Pretty good.

I agree with what goosefilms says, it's good, but it just feels... lacking slightly.

I don't really like the song, but sounds like a band you'd be smart to stick with.

doesnt work for me.

10-29-2005, 07:33 PM
Me either. I'm interested though, because your innerlo stuff was pretty mad.

half decent song, pretty good singer, can he scream? if so then he should when it gets to the heavy part, u should turn up the singer's mic and thats about all....keep up the good work

Awesome. Really have to break away from the tool sound though because it's almost identical except in the built up bit it has hints of something else. I really like it though, just wish there was more of it.

I really liked it, for those of you who it didn't work for, copy and paste into address bar

10-30-2005, 06:53 AM

Perhaps I should have been more clear. I was asked to come play with the members of this band, minus the keyboard and drummer. I can't change it, this is an old project they did. Yes there is a lot of Tool influence lol.

As for the singer, yes he can sream/yell whatever. He's quite good I think. i think I was just excited about playing with some other good musicians. I've had a rash of auditions with bands in my area and, with the exception of one which was just too metal for my taste, they have all been very dissapointing.

Anywho, if ya like it cool. If not cool, was just sharing really.

Is there any more? :)

Cool man, congratulations. I look forward to hearing some of your things, I love Tool as much as the next guy.

Cool stuff

Good thing I checked this thread again! I love that of winters end song. I can't get over how much the vocalist sounds like Maynard.

11-02-2005, 06:05 AM
I love of winters end, but yeah as people have said it needs something else in it to amke it sound bigger, maybe another guitar line I'm not sure.

I'll tell them you dig it Rich. Tonight I'm meeting with them again, we are working on a soundtrack to an indie slasher flick. Should be interesting lol.
