When I plug the power in normally all the lights on the pedal flash for a second, but now the lights aren't going out and it won't let me use the pedal. I've read through the manual and can't find anything helpful other than warnings about turning off the pedal whilst playing/over dubbing/recording. I'm guessing I must have violated this, otherwise I'm cluesless as to how I broke it. Does anyone have a clue on what I could do to fix it? Is there a secret reset button that I can't find? Or a pedal/button sequence that makes everything ok?

Peace,
Sheephead

PS: This is the reason why I failed to enter the Slap Comp.

Change the batteries.

When I plug the power in

It takes 6 AA batteries so I use the Boss Adapter I bought the day after buying the pedal. Thanks for trying though.

Well try using it with batteries, maybe there's a problem with the adapter port or maybe the unit doesn't recognize a power source without batteries.

ARG! I've just tried batteries and the same problem persists. Anyone have ANY other ideas? I emailed Boss/Roland and haven't got a reply, but will try again.
