yeah the first part (F#5, F#5sus7, B/F#, D/F#) was this "song" i wrote in my first year of playing lol but i never actually made it into a song, and the second part (E, F#, E, ladeda harmony bit) is another part i wrote, I thought would go well with it, and all the little things in between i just improvised...

Yeah, it is seriously over-rated. That doesn't meanI don't like the technique, obviously I enjoy playing it. But, it is such a basic concept that jsut takes time, but people get intimidated by the way it sounds.

Anyways, my soundclick page doesn't have much finger-style on it atm, I've just finished doign a finger-style loop thing that I will put up later!

hmmm....could be sound's fault...it was sort of like a transition chord, i didn't mean for it to be the last chord, the camera stopped filming....lol u can see me sliding up at the end, that was to play this thing really slow and let it ring out:

the thing is, the "reputation" rockbasses have around this forum is complete bull****. Half the people who keep bashing rockbass and saying bad things about 'em have never played one...
I guess it's too hard for them to believe you could get a nice bass for less than 600 bucks

I like this bass, I do wish it had a passive circuit as well

(also, in the first thing i said, i know there are people who have played it and just plain didn't like it, i wasn't referring to those people)


AND if anyone is stupid enough to say "real warwicks are better" well no **** sherlock they cost 3 times as much

im with u all the way on this... i have a rockbass streamer and its better than any bass ive played at its price. i personally dont like the 4string corvette but the 5er i love for some reason... different feel i suppose. at any rate they dont deserve the rep they have. they're quality. its actually the only situtaion i can think of where ppl dont like them because of who makes em and what else they make.
