im using 7002's, as tight as the springs can go, both are plastic beaters.

i find this line of pedal really uncomfortable, maybe my spring tension is too high... i play heel-down, and double bass can be a hastle... ive tried using Axis dbl pedals, and they work better, i just dont have the money to hand over.

any suggestions? loosen spring, sell and get new pedal... anything?

btw, i play punk, but we want to do something experimental.

yeah definitely loosen the springs and do a bit of adjusting you'll find the 7002's are great pedals for the money.

The 7000's are great, no need to swap out.
