Yeah, its R. Truman, it says his first name, but I can't remember who it is. I tried looking through the booklet, but I coundn't find anything. I would like to use this in my Brit. Lit. class, so if anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks! :thumb:

What do you mean? Do you want the fictional character's first name, or are you asking for the person who actually wrote that? If the latter.. well, I doubt you'll find the information.

Hahahah.. no it isn't.
His name is Ranse Truman. I'm not really sure what role he played in the first game (i.e. was he supposed to be a fellow convict or something else), but I've heard that you encounter him in Ties That Bind. I don't remember meeting him, but that's probably because I just slaughtered everything that movied before it had a chance to talk..

Is that during the intro mission where you're in prison or after that?

Well, now that I looked through it....looks like I was wrong. This was actually a good read...

They are explaining the story in a pretty good manner.....from me scanning, it looks as if they think Truman is another 'personality', the neutral one, and it explains what's going on from an outside view.

OH! Ranse Truman! Sorry, had a brain moment....Right after the drowning pool.....at the beginning of the...Home Of The Misdemeanor Homicide.....you stand there and he talks.....but he tells all his poems as they flash on the screen again. Oh, and he says something like "Those monsters come out of that hole and walk on past, don't pay any attention to me" This would show he is linked to them, and protected from them somehow. Also "I've been watching the suffering for a long time"
Me thinks he is a ghost....
Sorry for the double post

Too much to read about a game that was nothing exeptionally spectacular.
