I've started playing drums 2 months ago and I really like it!

But, I have a problem, I'd like to get some good (free) software so that I can play beats on my PC. I've found TabTrax on net, but I don't want to pay for it...

So, I was wondering if anybody knew if there is any drumming program that is free?

Tabtrax is the only program that can play tabbed drum parts, as far as I'm aware. I didn't exactly pay for it, but I'll say no more as I'd rather not be banned.

But you could download a midi of the song you're trying to learn (if thats what you mean) and then use a midi program to single out the drum part. I sometimes do that, but its not always completely true to the real song.

Edit - Oh yeah, I forgot. Welcome to the forums!

TabTrax only lets you play the first four bars if you dont pay...download Dtab, it lets you play unlimited...the only downside is a reminder popping up every so often...look for it on google.

FruityLoops has some basic functionality, but you have to tab it in yourself, and you can't save in the demo version.
