I went and bought this game just because I like the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. I'm undefeated in the season and I'm just about to play Phoenix. Anyone else think the game is any good?

It's allright. But after nine years of EA Sports NHL series, I''ve grown bored.

The dynasty mode needs to be more intricate and Madden-esque.

I may try NHL2k6.

It's fun but I prefer realistism so I always go with 2Ksports for my hockey games.

I kind of like the 2ksports NHL 06, but I like body checking guys in the official one.

The on-ice pay is more realistic?

It looks much less fluid to me, but I haven't played it yet...

NHL 06 is definitely less arcadey than the series has been in the past, and I think the AI actually plays hockey like a hockey team. They dont just chase the puck.

The whole EA series is way better than the 2k series. I'm Montreal, and I'm in my second season. I won the Stanley Cup, and only lost two games in the season on Difficult.
