Help with pc Games2

I finaly stepped into the threshold of computer gaming. I bought this video card from my work used for 35$. It's not that great but it can run doom 3 and halo pretty decent.

I also got far cry :). I'm not sure what to get next though, I was thinking either

With that card don't get FEAR. If you still have only 512mbRAM that's another issue. Although I did run the demo of FEAR ok with an FX5200, so don't only take my word for it. You should fair better with HL2, though.

Painkiller would be a good choice. You would get some slow down, but it's not that bad. Leave the game unpatched, also. And turn off weather effects. COD would run good if you haven't played it yet. Perhaps Doom3 on the lowest of settings. And you might just scrape by with that one. Any older titles like AvP 2 and No One Lives Forever 2 would do fine. MOH series, also. Area 51 would do ok, too. I'm not sure if that's a PC game, though. But for newer titles, Far Cry, Painkiller, Doom3, and Area 51 if available should be ok on various settings. SWAT 4, as well.

Yes. In the first thread (Help With PC Games 1) we went through this with him. I think the $35 he spent was saved up money. And then the games, too. My 6600GT is still making me very happy. :)

Yeah, but I'm in the middle of purchasing a car. I still owe 1,000 on it and I need something to do since I can't afford to go out anymore for a while :). I'm not going to go all out, at least not yet so this is a fine card for right now. I am playing Doom 3 Beautifully, its settings arent the very highest but the graphics are still awesome. Doesnt even glitch at all. it's a dark and omnimous game but good. I really wanted to try fear though....I will have to buy it and find out.
