my fingers are like plums.. heh

Yeah, so I used to bite my nails alot, and then I stopped bitting my right hand nails but I found myslef bitting my left hand nails, now my right hand finger tips are back to normal. but my left hand finger nails are sorta ingrown'ish, and the nails are shorrrtt, and im trying to grow them back out so maby they will go back to normal, but my fingers are fatty like plums (im not fat though, i wear a 30 pants :P ). My left hand index and maby my pinky a little is normal, mainly the middle and ring finger. Will this affect my playing alot?, cause it bothers me a whole lot, and I just want to rip my fingers off sometimes =X

My friend has the same problem and I think it does affect his playing, he doesn't hold the strings down properly, kinda angles his hand to the side and the notes don't come out that well. Sooo you should stop biting, let them grow.
