Hey guys,
I've been feeling an urge to get back into gaming recently and tomorrow I'm going shopping. Anyway to get to the point, Since I've been out of gaming for afew years I don't really know whats out their and stuff.
Anyway I've got a Gamecube, and obviousally, a PC. So any recomendations for pretty much any game for either of these?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I didn't really think before mashing in the title and can't edit it, but I'm interested in both GC and PC games.

PC Games
Half-Life 2
F.E.A.R.
Far Cry
Doom 3
Quake 4
Those are the newer games, all graphically demanding.

Correct Flying Paul is, also gives Tales of Symphania (sp?) a try if you're into RPG's as well as Eternal Darkness: Sanitys Requiem. Also Super Mario Sunshine, most like to diss this game but I claim it's the best 3d Mario around.

Mario Sunshine was a great game, but it didn't feel like Mario to me. I mean, all you have to do is switch a few main characters and it could be any other adventure/platform game. I need Goombas and Koopas wing caps and lots of pipes in my Mario games.
But on topic, you defo need Resident evil 4 (poss remake and zero too if you like them), Timesplitters 3 (quite hard to find), Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 1&2, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, FZero GX.

I'm not a big fan of the Resident Evil games despite having owned a fast majority of alot of them at one point or another, Including the remake of the first on the cube. So that rules 4 and Zero out. I borrowed Mario Sunshine of a friend aswell and remember enjoying it.
I played Timesplitters 2 with some mates afew time which was quite enjoyable, Does it have much of a single player apeal? Same with Mario Kart and FZero GX. I've been interested in a racing game recently so wouldn't mind one or the other.
I used to own Wind Waker at one point and completed it a couple of times, great game!
The Metroid Primes look interesting, I remember looking forward to the original when I first got my cube.

Definitely the Metroid Prime series on the GC. I'd add on the Zelda Collector's Edition disc (IF you can find it at the right price). That Fire Emblem game is at least worth a look. Soul Calibur 2 is good, and Goldeneye: Rogue Agent isn't too bad for 20$. Splinter Cell is good. And for all that is sacred, do not forget Everything Or Nothing!
I'm assuming that PC wise, you're a little behind. Age of Mythology is great, as is Warcraft III. But if you have some kick*** PC, I'd get Halo and Half Life.
As an added bonus, nearly everything on this list can be found for roughly 20$.
Yeah, I have no life.

I'd say Viewtiful Joe for the Cube, one of the first Cube games I got. It's pretty hard, but do-able, and Joe is a super-cool guy

look into Resi Evil 4 before dismissing it; it's nothing like the others.

I went eBay-crazy a few months ago and bought these for Gamecube:
Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime and Super Mario Sunshine. I'm still looking for Paper Mario and Tales of Symphonia. I think that's a pretty good list.
Now all I need is some time to play them. :(

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'll look into the games soon.
I bought Half Life2 yesterday and my PC meets the specifications on the box. When I installed it and tried to run it it says I didn't meet the minimum specifications and something about SIS 760 video card. This (http://g.1asphost.com/Highamster/help.JPG) is the error I get.
The game and the others run fine but they randomly crash and restart my computer. Half Life: Source just does it at the exact same time so I'm guessing I need a new video or graphics card whatever it is. So any recomendations on one thats not to expensive and will be good to play released games and future ones for awhile?

Update your drivers is what it was saying. But yeah a new video card won't hurt, I haven't even heard of that one.
