I like. No Wow is a pretty great album, came out this year. I hate how they get called "stripe wannabes". Can't imagine how they'd sound live.

what kind of music do they play?

It's sort of a garage band using a drum machine.

They're a duo though, a guy on the guitar and a female lead vocal singer who I guess does the drum machine.

yeah i think their good just because its a girl and a boy like the white stripes doesnt mean their copying them thats just a lame thing to say, the musics nothing alike

They are pretty good. Not that great live though. It is a duo, sort of a punky dirty feel to the music if that makes any sense at all.

I really like No Wow, I can't imagine what they'd be like live though.

They look fun live from the snippets I've seen. A lot of energy.

I saw them at Leeds and I wasn't bowled over by them... I though they were alright though.

I liked the sound of the guy's guitar.

I think they would be way more suited to a small club.

I'll be seeing them on December 13th. Am I excited? Not overly, but it should be fun. I plan on giving the chick all my sex.

nah, I'm gonna get her. if I don't sex her up (there is an average possibility of me doing this) then I'll atleast touch her, and she'll touch me. I'm thinking a hug.

They are by far the worst band I have ever seen live. Everything about their performance was dreadful, every song was just a mess of distortion and she sang horribly out of key through the whole set.

Just crappy all round.

Tapeworm

out is the best kind of key.

I'm hopefully seeing them/playing with them when they come here.

Ew, she is really not hot.. at all.

Are you stupid? :)

She's very cute and has the coolest female singing voice...ever.

Actually, I would agree that she isn't 'hot' as such. I think she's really pretty.

That made me laugh.

/sigh I want to see Tapeworm's band more than I want to see The Kills, which is a lot. Send me the EP Tape :)

Tapey's band are the fuzz. I haven't actually heard them, but if I had, I would probably like them even more.

Knuckles man, nice work.

Is there any possibility that you could send it to me through teh internet? I'm sure that would make it easier for both of us. That way I can still burn it and give it to people as well.

the new album was on my bed when i got home from france :) my mother is cool hehe.

the kills are great. when i saw them, the drum machine messed up so there was 5 mins of them trying to fix it (which they did). i enjoyed them anyway

pretty good from what i hear.. haven't seen them live though..

i'm wondering why it's impossible for people to discuss a female musician without talking about the way she looks. who gives a ****? i mean, really. no matter what women try to do, it's always always always about the way they ****ing look. it's just sick. i play drums, and sometimes people don't even care, it's just about the 'cute drummer girl'... **** it.

No one cares how she looks in relation to the music. But if a good looking woman plays good music, she's bound to get comments.

I've never seen any pics of the chick.

As for the band, No Wow is a great album. I love their style.
