Quick question

I've been trying to learn Blackbird by the Beautiful Girls. The tab I got for it was:

But that sounds a little too high for my ear for the opening riff. I'm think it might be in drop D, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone who has a guitar and the song handy, I'd much appreciate the help. Thanks guys.

I know the song. But I don't have a recording of it, so I can't compare.

But by suggestion would be to play that rhythm while holding an E minor barre chord shape. Like:

e|-7-|
B|-8-|
G|-9-|
D|-9-|
A|-7-|
E|-7-|

Played by barring your index finger completely across the 7th fret.

But I'm gonna go watch them play a gig this friday, so I'll keep an eye out and see how they actually play this song for ya. :)
