Before you all dismiss this bass because it wasn't built in America with Seymour Duncans etc. I will say this is an incredible bass

Their RRP is 300 (or close, I'm not entirely sure). However, I payed only 250 :D

The bass is incredible (as stated above). The active pre-amp and Mightymite J and MM pickups give this bass a broard palet of tones (for slapping its to die for!). Using the 3way pickup selector, the neck pickup gives a close replication on a P bass, the two pickups blended together gives a J bass bridge tone and the MM pickup is typical Stingray. Also included in the controls are a Mid frequency toggle switch.
The 34" scale neck is very much like a Precisions, with some beautiful inlay work (on mine at least :p) and has 22 large frets with good upper fret access.
As far as I am concerened, this bass is well worth its price simply because it is possible to achieve the sounds of 3 different basses so easily, and the quality of the instrument is exellent, there are no flaws as far as mine was concerned.

Rating: 4/5

ps, this is my first review so go easy, and please point out any mistakes or things you feel should be included.

Will :smash:

Do you have it in that colour ?

I did consider them a while ago, but I think I couldn't cope with the body shape :upset:.

No, mine is a 3 colour sunburst version. As far as I can tell the body is very much like a Fender Jazz

Yeah it is I suppose, I think it's the scratchplate and top horn I dislike.

I took the scratchplate off mine, it somehow makes it look better

Any chance of a soundclip ? I'd be interested to hear it.

No can do, I'm waiting for my 4x10 to come from GAK, plus I don't have any recording equipment.

I'm sure if you check the British website you can find a dealer in the Manchester area :thumb:

Have a look at this :thumb:

I got it from a store in Chichester, England in their closing down sale. But if you check out the English Cort website, there's a dealer finder :thumb:
