Before you all dismiss this bass because it wasn't built in America with Seymour Duncans etc. I will say this is an incredible bass
Their RRP is £300 (or close, I'm not entirely sure). However, I payed only £250 :D
The bass is incredible (as stated above). The active pre-amp and Mightymite J and MM pickups give this bass a broard palet of tones (for slapping its to die for!). Using the 3way pickup selector, the neck pickup gives a close replication on a P bass, the two pickups blended together gives a J bass bridge tone and the MM pickup is typical Stingray. Also included in the controls are a Mid frequency toggle switch.
The 34" scale neck is very much like a Precisions, with some beautiful inlay work (on mine at least :p) and has 22 large frets with good upper fret access.
As far as I am concerened, this bass is well worth its price simply because it is possible to achieve the sounds of 3 different basses so easily, and the quality of the instrument is exellent, there are no flaws as far as mine was concerned.
Rating: 4/5
