I really hope that you were joking.

--Ok, good, you were. Sort of.

Its a good movie, but its not this life-changing gem that a lot of people claim it to be. I give it an 8.

And I just heard THAT song from the soundtrack again, man I love that song.

from what i understood, Donnie could see the vortexes that came from other people centers of gravities that basically projected their path they were going to take before the actually took it, so in a way donnie was seeing into the future and knew where the people were going to go next.

and yeah that song mad world by gary jules is awsome, i have it saved on my comp. i got a few of his other songs but they dont sound anything like mad world

That song that goes "I find it kinda funny, I find it kinda sad, the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had". THAT one...

It's a great idea but I thought it could've been scripted a little better. Still a very good movie though.

It's a good film but ultimately that's all it is, an original film that might make you think.

did it make you think?

it made me think how we take things for granted

It did, although what it makes me think about has changed. I now relate the film to chaos theory although I don't feel the film does have any real order, which is what makes it such a mindboggler. Instead of questioning the films logic you question your own.

This is my opinion of it anyway.

the last five minutes are possibly the only reason it is so popular.

Yeah I know and I still don't know what happens. The rest of the movie was good though, I enjoyed it. I would like to see the ending.

I will eventually buy this movie on DVD, hell it's only like £5 maximum now.

Very overrated movie IMO, but still a great watch.

I ignored it when it came out cos the trailers made it look like some kinda 'coming of age drama'. Then I heard some people on the bus talking about it and checked it out. It rocked, so I bought it. I've seen it too many times now so I'm not gonna watch it again for about two years.

My favourite film. Took me several viewings, and the reading of "Phillosiphy of Time travel" but I understand it now... I think...

I still don't get the bit at the end when Donnies GF and that little boy wave to Donnies mum when she's smoking.

I found it to be a rather enjoyable film even if I didn't really understand it, might be worth downloading it again.

It's an entertaining film, but nothing particularly philosophically brilliant. The fact that it's so hyped is pretty much proof of that.

I thought it was overhyped, and pretty crap. Watching it felt like a waste of time, it was very boring.

Michael Andrews did the score, Gary Jules covered that song, it was origionally done by tears for fears.

/loves this movie way too ****ing much

I watch it almost religiously. I think I've watched it 3 times in the last 2 days. I love it. I think of it as a religious type thing too. Donnie = Jesus. Frank = God. God tells jesus he has to die to save a corrupted universe etc etc.

You must be one of those people who watches movies for really obvious humor/scares and not for the plot then. I bet you loved AvP. :p
