I mean, I love most of the songs on it.

"Everything In It's Right Place" - Radiohead
"Untitled 4 (The Nothing Song)" - Sigur Ros
"Floating In Space" - Spiritulized

It's a pretty decent soundtrack. Why call it the same?

Cameron Crowe keeps up with his pop culture.

The strange thing is how horrible the movie is. The only good thing about it is the soundtrack.

I liked Vanilla Sky quite a good deal.

There's also a rather prominently featured Jeff Buckley song in the movie. I'm reasonably confident that it was Last Goodbye, but I'm not sure.

Watch the original - "Abre Los Ojos"

Pedro Almodovar is one sick puppy, but i love him nonetheless

It was.

I loved that movie. Half of people love it, half of people hate it. There's good reasoning behind either opinion.

There are about 4 Sigur Ros songs on it.

I like the way Sweetness Follows is used in the film. Such a great song.

Abre los ojos(open the eyes) is not a Pedro Almodovar film.Itīs an Alejandro Amenabar film, and is a very good film, much better than vanilla sky.

The Vanilla Sky soundtrack is wonderful. It's probably one of my favorite soundtracks.

Whoopsie, thankyou for the correction.

I confused the directors with that and 'Habla con ella' for some reason. Probably because i suck.

I'm pretty sure there's also a snippet of Svefn-g-englar on the movie as well.

The movie was pretty good. I believe it's how I heard of Sigur Ros.

Here's a quote from my OKCupid.

Anything by Kubrick, and a handful of comedies. For the most part I hate movies with a passion. Though there are some I pretend to like just because they have awesome soundtracks (see: Vanilla Sky.)

me too

I've heard Cameron Crowe is a big fan of alternative music and picks most of the songs on soundtracks himself. If I'm correct I believe he did the movie "Singles" who's soundtrack included some of the best alternative bands of the 90s before they got big

i was just AMAZED that they put "everything in its right place" at the start of the movie. That sold it for me
