I'm not really a big fan of the Need for Speed games, but this new installment (coming out Nov 15th) looks pretty sweet. The cops are back, and from what I've heard they use a Manhunt-type "Stealth/safe" zones where you can hide as long as the cops didn't see you get there. I hope if you get on the highway they try and PIT you and crap so you can pull off a badass escape attempt like that guy in the Mustang video. :lol: :lol:

mmm it looks pretty sweet alright....im just paranoid all those screenshots were off the xbox360 version :(

even so...being able to pimp out the interior of your ride is a pretty cool addition

The XBOX graphics will be nearly as good as the X360's.

I'm not even buying the 360 until the ****ing price goes down.

This game does look cool, and definately reminiscent of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. I'll look into it.

The first NFS game I ever played was NFS III: Hot Pursuit, the first one with cops. And God did I ever love that game... it was the first game I got for my PS1 :D I hope it will kick arse like that one did.

Anyway, there's also some type of gimmick where you can slow down time for a few seconds which gives you better handling and adds weight to your car so you can take turns faster or something.. I'm not exactly sure. Either way, this game should be a cheaper alternative then actually running from the po. :lol:

The #1 Game Gimmick is what 'they' call "Bullet Time" or slowing the game down.

It looks pretty cool. I played the PS2 demo, and it was fun. NFS sucks without cops, so this shall be good.

Did the American release of NFS III have the Australian Holdens & Fords in it?
