Reading Chords

So im wanting to learn this song but its only written in chords and not the tabs. I know this is a stupid question for some of you probably but how am I supposed to learn a song with just the chords? Do I need to find a list of all the chords and do it like that?

www.chordfind.com it has probably every chord around on there. Use it to find out the fingerings of all the chords in your song, them play away. You'll have to work out the strumming pattern yourself of course, but then that shouldn't be too difficult. You'll gradually learn many chords and won't have to look them up, but until then....
