i need help writing a song in minor key anyone got any advice on scales and chords?

thats just the basic minor chords... theres a hell of alot more like G#m & variants & then theres the really queer ones like Ebm11 etc... which would take me years to tab :D

this may not help though cuz i know nothing about keys... :-/

im pretty sure minor goes something like.... minor,dimished,augmented,major,major,minor,diminis hed..... wait no thats not right but i know theres an augmented chord in there and im pretty sure its the third. the dominant is obviously major. tonic is minor. i dont know
