Yngwie!?!?!?!

Can anyone give me amp settings to get a tone resembling that of Yngwie.
Just the basic Bass, Mids, Lows will do, and the amount of distortion.

get a american strat + old marshall plexi heads = generically his tone

i am pretty sure you can get tone like his without a single coil guitar(the transparency qality of his tone) and a tube amp.

First of all, liking or not liking Yngwie is not the issue you here.

To get his tone, you need a Fender strat (preferrably with Dimarzio YJMs) through an OD pedal (preferrably a DOD YJM sig OD) into a Plexi 45. Yngwie's Plexi's sound really cranked, so push your EQ knobs and gain alltowards 10. Yes it sounds like this will sound horrible, but some reason, this got really cranked sound out of plexis, as is detailed in the Line6 PodXt pilot's handbook, on the section on how to use the plexi 45 simulator.
